Home of Heroes Fire Trucks
Fire Department Partners with Pueblo Medal of Honor Foundation for new look to city fire trucks.
The Pueblo Medal of Honor Foundation has partnered with the Pueblo Fire Department to help in their quest to have Pueblo's existing fire trucks repainted to reflect a red, white and blue "Home of Heroes" theme throughout the next few years.
The new look as been approved by City Council and the two new fire trucks were purchased in 2008. Since then, funds have been raised for the painting of two more fire engines.
Pueblo Firemen Gary Micheli, Woody Percival, Damian Pritts and Mark Ciruli have spearheaded this with approval of Fire Chief Chris Riley.
