Sitter Display at Aircraft Museum
A generous donation of memorabilia belonging to Carl Sitter is on permanent loan to the Pueblo Medal of Honor Foundation. Some of these items have been put together in a display at the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum at Pueblo Memorial Airport east of Pueblo. Sitter's pistol and boots used during his time in Korea are showcased along with some of him photos, medals and a uniform.
The donations were made by Mrs. Sitter for a future larger display inside the Pueblo Convention Center as the Center expands. Sitter's personal papers and photo albums will go into a special collections area of the Robert Hoag Rawlings Public Library.
